Specialist Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our Specialist School in the Waltham Forest area.
As a specialist teacher, you will work with students who have diverse learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Global Learning Delay, SEMH, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Hearing and Visual Impairment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs
A strong understanding of strategies and interventions for Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Global Learning Delay, SEMH, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and sensory impairments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being
The salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our students.
