Job Description
- Candidates must be local to the St. Pete or Memphis corporate offices - training will be fully on-site (around 60 days) then will transition to hybrid role in office 2 days per week
- Laptop will be provided
6-month engagement with opportunity for extension or conversion to Full Time Employee (FTE) based on attendance and strong performance.
Job Summary:
The Tax Reporting department is currently hiring for 1 Tax Reporting Associate to fill in for an open position. The tax reporting associate will process IRS W8 certification forms, discuss IRS Forms 10++-B, DIV, INT, MISC, OID, 10++-R, 54+8 and 1042-S. Various vendor reports to be assigned as needed.
Job Duties
• Process IRS Forms W8-BEN and W8-BEN-E.
• Field incoming calls regarding various tax questions including IRS tax forms and tax reporting concepts
• Perform various duties as assigned
Skills: Must Haves - Hard Skills
• At least 2 years of recent data entry and document management experience
• Ability to process federal tax forms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to review various organizational documents for clarity
• Customer service focused phone skills
• Basic Excel skills: must know how to do basic functions such as creating and updating a spreadsheet, entering data, adding / removing columns and rows, etc.
