Role Description
• Oversee tax planning, preparation, and compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Lead preparation and filing of GST returns, GST annual returns, and tax audits
• Handle GST audits, tax audits, and ensure accurate reporting
• Manage filing of appeals under GST and Income Tax
• Ensure company law compliances are met
• Conduct tax research and implement effective tax-saving strategies
• Liaise with tax authorities and manage assessments and notices
• Lead the office team, manage workflow, and ensure timely execution of assignments
• Train and mentor junior staff, build team capability, and maintain quality standards
Key Qualifications
• Strong experience in Tax Planning & Compliance
• In-depth knowledge of GST (Returns, Audit, Annual Return)
• Hands-on experience in Tax Audit & GST Audit
• Practical exposure to Appeals under GST & Income Tax
• Familiarity with Company Law Compliances
• Background in a CA Firm is mandatory
• Proven leadership ability with experience in handling teams and managing operations
• Strong mentoring and training skills for junior team members
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a managerial role will be an added advantage
