Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly direct tax account reconciliations and necessary adjusting journal entries.
• Calculate state apportionment and state tax return adjustments.
• Maintain tax fixed asset roll forward (Excel) and tax depreciation schedules (Asset Keeper).
• Maintain direct tax compliance calendar using OneSource Calendar.
• Assist with the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments,
tax provisions and other tax calculations.
• Coordinate with internal business partners to process tax payments, receipts, and withholding tax certificates.
• Interface with Accounting Organization personnel to obtain needed financial data and information.
• Provide analysis and information required in tax planning activities when such matters arise.
• Maintain appropriate tax accounting records and calculations for current and previous years.
Assist other members of Tax Department as needed.
Professional Skills
• Excellent communication, analytical and research skills
• Ability to work and act independently on multiple projects
• Ability to successfully resolve issues with minimal assistance
• Ability to use judgment in determining how to approach/solve problems
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to troubleshoot difficult issues
Qualifications
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management.
• Experience or proficiency with OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Calendar and/or Asset Keeper is a plus.
