Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a tax accounting role
Proficiency in tax accounting, accounts payable, K-1's, tax compliance, and financial statements
Advanced knowledge of accounting software
Experience with financial planning and forecasting
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations by researching and interpreting tax laws
Manage the organization's accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
Prepare K-1's and other tax forms as needed
Utilize accounting software to maintain records and generate reports
Assist with financial planning and forecasting efforts
Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
Identify efficiencies and improvements in the tax process
Keep up to date with changes in financial regulations and legislation
Collaborate with internal and external auditors when necessary
