What will you do?
Our Department Managers play a key role in managing the daily store operations and managing their department end to end. Lead in-store processes, including inventory management, product availability and merchandise standards. Department Managers lead safety initiatives and drive a safety-first culture within their direct team and across the broader store team. Department Managers lead a fun and inclusive workplace, where our team members can be developed to their highest potential.
What are we looking for?
Foster a high-performance culture and ensuring strong team engagement by leading our values, ways of working and expected behaviours
Proven experience in leading teams, building relationships, and driving change
Be an organised, detail focused and self-motivated team player
Implement safety processes to ensure compliance within SOP regulations. Delivering safety training, supporting injury management, and promoting a safe work environment
Have strong communications skills, being able to adjust or adapt for our diverse workforce
Be able to effectively manage multiple priorities, team needs and customer expectations
Ability to interpret and use data to monitor sales, forecast trends, and drive strategic decision making
