ASC is Australia’s submarine company. About the Opportunity
Join our team as a Talent Acquisition Advisor. Collaborate closely with our Recruitment Operations team, Workforce Planning, and Capability leads to implement effective recruitment strategies. You'll primarily focus on meeting our medium and long-term resource needs, while also tackling short-term demands that require a more strategic approach. Be a key player in shaping our future workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will also include:
Execute mid-to-long term talent acquisition strategies to meet forecasted workforce needs.
Support the creation and maintenance of talent communities to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates
Conduct effective phone screens or face-to-face interviews with both passive and active candidates to assess skills and experience.
Identify top, active talent in the market and collaborate with the Recruitment Operations team and Heads of Capability to fulfill immediate resource demands.
Provide strategic recruitment advice and guidance to business units, ensuring alignment with ASC's policies and procedures.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or similar (desirable).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a recruitment function. You may have experience working in a recruitment agency working across a wide range of technical areas with complex compliance processes or Internal recruitment from a similar environment.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition functions.
You will have been in a similar role with specific knowledge in assessing transferable skills and experiences and aligning them to a wide range of potential opportunities.
Ability to grow and maintain strong and trusted stakeholder relationships.
Well-developed time management skills to plan workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities.
Naturally Inquisitive and confident in questioning around areas of uncertainty
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
