Job Overview

Duties
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the cash register with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Manage time effectively to ensure all guests are attended to promptly during busy periods.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
