The Canadian Light Source Inc. (CLSI) is a national research facility at the University of Saskatchewan. CLSI produces extremely bright light to explore the nature and structure of molecules, serving national and international users from academia, industry, and government institutions.
CLSI is now accepting applications for the Systems Technology (ST) Infrastructure Lead. This role plays a critical leadership function in supporting the infrastructure that powers CLSI, its staff, and users. Responsibilities include overseeing hardware, operating systems, system administration, monitoring applications, and related maintenance contracts. The successful candidate will lead a team of technical professionals to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of CLSI’s infrastructure. System support includes a mixed Windows and Linux environment, data center management, multiple enterprise-level data storage systems, standard IT asset and contract management, and monitoring solutions.
