Job Title: System & Network EngineerDepartment: Information TechnologyPosition OverviewThe System & Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, hardware, and cloud environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to ensure secure, stable, and efficient IT operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem AdministrationConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.Handle Level 1 and Level 2 technical support issues related to systems and applications.Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security updates.Network ManagementInstall, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and related networking devices.Monitor and manage networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related services.Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.Hardware & Infrastructure SupportSet up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.Provide end-user technical support for hardware and software issues.Ensure smooth functioning of office IT infrastructure.Cloud & Collaboration ToolsManage and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and access controls.Support email, collaboration, and productivity tools under Microsoft 365.IT Asset & Security ManagementMaintain IT asset inventory, including hardware and software licenses.Support compliance with IT security standards and data protection protocols.Proactively recommend system and process improvements to enhance functionality and security.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors or Masters in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.Hands-on experience in system administration and network management.Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.Core CompetenciesStrong problem-solving ability.Attention to detail and system reliability focus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving technologies.
