Role Description The Syncron Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Savannah, GA. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing data within the Syncron platform to support inventory optimization, parts forecasting, and aftersales performance. Day-to-day tasks include extracting, cleansing, and validating data from various systems; building and maintaining data models and reports; and monitoring key performance indicators related to parts availability, demand, and service levels. The Syncron Data Analyst collaborates closely with supply chain, aftersales, IT, and regional business teams to translate business requirements into actionable analytics and insights. The role also involves identifying trends, recommending data-driven improvements, supporting system enhancements, and documenting processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex datasets and drawing actionable conclusions (Analytical Skills, Data Analytics).
• Solid foundation in quantitative methods and applied statistics for forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement (Statistics, Data Analytics).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining structured data models to support reporting and dashboards (Data Modeling, Data Analytics).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to present data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders (Communication, Analytical Skills).
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Experience working with or supporting supply chain, inventory management, or aftersales/service operations is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Syncron or similar inventory optimization/aftermarket platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
