Do you love working with children and providing opportunities for them to learn and to grow?
C&M Aquatic Centre is a family owned business providing swimming lessons at Padstow.
We are seeking motivated, reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic people who are interested in becoming a qualified Swimming Instructor.
Duties and responsibilities:
Provide swimming instruction in a safe, fun and educational way to enable children to develop essential swimming skills
Ensure a safe environment for children under your care
Be aware of children and activities around you at all times
Prepare lesson plans
Continually assess student’s performance
Hours of Work:
Shifts available Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.00pm, 3.30pm to 7.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm. Successful applications are expected to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
Qualifications and skills:
Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
CPR Certificate
Working with Children check
Experience in the aquatic environment (optional)
Excellent communication skills
Can be obtained once the applicant is successful in this position.
Hourly rates will be based upon the fitness industry award dependent upon your age and qualification.
