Adelaide University Swimming Club is currently seeking an individual who would like to be paid for a coaching position in our social swimming club. Most members are 18-years or older as we are a university club. There is a possibility of junior members joining our club throughout the year.
The coach will be responsible for delivering coaching to club members once a week on Monday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:30pm during the study periods at University, and from 6:00pm to 7:30pm during the off-peak or study breaks. The location of the pool is Pridham Hall, 215 Hindley St, Adelaide SA 5000, which is the Adelaide University City West Campus. Coaching would start from 2 March 2026 to 31 Jan 2027. Coach payments are in line with the Fair Work Ombudsman Fitness Industry Award 2020.
What are we looking for?
Commitment to 90% of training sessions for our swimmers.
Organised and prepared plans for each session
Experience with coaching at school/club/Masters level
Requirements:
It is essential to hold a Swimming Australia Development Coach Accreditation. The additional requirements are:
National Police Clearance
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
Working with Children Check
