About Us and The Role
At Home in Place, we believe a home is more than a roof - it's safety, dignity and a fresh start. We're seeking a proactive, people-focused Supported Accommodation Officer to deliver tenancy and housing services across specialist supported accommodation programs. You’ll work closely with tenants, support partners, Homes NSW and stakeholders to support sustainable tenancies and positive housing outcomes for vulnerable community members.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll balance tenancy management, stakeholder engagement, program coordination, and community-focused initiatives. You will:
Manage day-to-day tenancy functions including sign-ups, arrears, inspections, lease renewals, maintenance and vacancy management
Support tenants to sustain successful tenancies through proactive engagement and collaboration with support partners
Work closely with Homes NSW, support agencies, and key stakeholders to meet program objectives and housing outcomes
Coordinate and attend regular partner and tenant meetings, forums, and facilitation groups
Maintain supported accommodation properties and common areas to a high standard
Prepare documentation and represent the organisation at Tribunal when required
Ensure accurate program administration, reporting, invoicing, and record keeping
What we’re looking for
You're organised, adaptable, and passionate about housing and tenancy sustainability. You can confidently manage complex situations while building strong relationships. You'll bring:
Experience in tenancy management, community housing, homelessness, or a related field
Knowledge of tenancy legislation and housing practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage complex situations professionally and respectfully
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach and ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
