Description:
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at our Duketon Operations.
The Supply Chain Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all aspects of site inventory and providing leadership for the warehousing function to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Supply Chain Supervisor will be accountable to fulfil all statutory responsibilities including, but not limited to, Mining, Occupational Safety and Health, Dangerous Goods and Environmental Acts and Regulations.
This is a site-based role, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster (ex-Perth).
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Take ownership of personal safety and that of colleagues through a proactive approach towards behavioural safety, hazard identification and risk management
Fulfil all statutory responsibilities in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations in accordance with Mining, Occupational Safety and Health, Dangerous Goods and Environmental Acts and Regulations
Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel, fostering a high-performance and safety-first culture
Drive employee engagement, capability uplift, and succession planning within the team
Conduct regular performance reviews, toolbox talks, and mentoring
Identify and implement process improvements to optimise warehouse layout, workflows, and material handling
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, inventory optimisation, and service delivery
Analyse inventory trends to improve forecasting, reorder points, and stock holding strategies
Maintain high levels of stock accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation processes
Manage critical spares, min/max levels, and lead times to ensure operational continuity
Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Champion a proactive safety culture, driving visible safety leadership and leading by example
Ensure critical risk controls are understood and consistently applied
In collaboration with the Supply Chain Superintendent, conduct project work to identify and implement inventory and warehouse improvements
About you
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent
Current Dangerous Goods Licence (highly desirable)
Demonstrated people leadership capability with a focus on coaching, accountability, and team development
Proven ability to build a positive team culture in a remote FIFO environment
Strong understanding of inventory management principles (min/max, MRP, critical spares)
Experience in ERP systems (Pronto desirable) with high attention to data accuracy
Ability to lead in a dynamic, high-pressure operational environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
S26 certificate
Valid Forklift licence
Current WA class C manual driver’s licence
Success in this role will be measured by:
Inventory accuracy and stock integrity
Warehouse safety performance (TRIFR / incidents)
Supply reliability to site operations
Reduction in obsolete and slow-moving stock
Continuous improvement outcomes delivered
