Supply Chain & Operations Lead
About the Role:
This is not just another operations role - it's an opportunity to own the backbone of fulfillment and logistics for one of India's fastest-growing jewelry marketplaces. You'll be the driving force ensuring every discovery turns into a delightful doorstep experience.
We're looking for a hands-on Supply & Logistics Lead who brings strong connections across logistics partners, can negotiate and unlock scale efficiencies, and has the hustle to solve for speed, reliability, and cost. The ideal candidate understands quick commerce dynamics, can streamline operations across brands, and build a logistics network that scales as rapidly as the business.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping partners, ensure SLA adherence (delivery timelines), and manage returns/reverse logistics efficiently.
- Resolve operational issues that affect delivery, returns, cancellations, or packaging to ensure smooth customer experience.
- Build SOPs for supply chain processes; identify and implement tech-driven improvements to reduce manual work and errors.
- Manage costs related to warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment to meet margins and drive profitability.
- Manage quick commerce logistics and operations.
- Set up dark stores and warehouses for storage and fulfillment.
- Onboard relevant partners to improvise, scale, and build logistics and supply chain for both marketplace and quick commerce models.
KPI's:
- Order Fulfillment Rate (% of orders shipped/delivered within SLA)
- Return Rate (especially due to delivery delays, damage, or wrong item)
- Inventory Turnover Ratio (how quickly inventory is sold and replaced)
- Average Delivery Time (by region or pin code)
- Logistics Cost per Order (as % of GMV or per item basis)
- Vendor SLA Adherence (timely dispatch, quality checks, packaging compliance)
Desired Qualifications:
- B.Tech, Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- 4-7 years' experience working in supply chain and operations within e-commerce marketplaces or companies.
- Strong experience working with logistics partners, warehousing solutions, and setting up dark stores.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and execution capabilities.
- Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
