In this position you will be responsible for developing regulations relating to compliance activities; evaluating fees barged for official services provided by delegated/designated states and private agencies under the United States Grain Standards Act and by state cooperators under the Agricultural Marketing Act for fair and reasonable pricing; and coordinating requests for program personnel to appear in judicial and administrative proceedings. ['The duties may include, but are not limited to:', 'Provides executive leadership; management, direction, and coordination of all Division programs, including headquarters and satellite office activities.', 'Reviews, interprets, and evaluates the impact of regulatory changes on existing programs.', 'Oversees the quality assurance program of field offices, States, and official agencies, reviewing and interpreting results and implementing changes when needed.', 'Provides executive leadership, management, and direction to Division Staff for integrating support programs, and activities at the Division Level.', 'Directs responses to internal Agency audits and takes appropriate actions to correct program deficiencies.', 'Provides official interpretations and assistance regarding the application of U.S. Grain Standards Act, and Agricultural Marketing Act regulations and directives.', 'Provides expert level advice concerning compliance and quality assurance activities.'] This position does not have an education qualification requirement.
