We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from highly skilled and safety focused Scaffolding Supervisors with strong experience in planned outages in the power generation industry to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing scaffolding resources associated with various scopes of work during plant outages on heavy industrial sites in the Darling Downs and Central Queensland regions.
This position will work closely with the Superintendent, your Leading Hands and work crews to ensure the work crew is set up to succeed, where schedule is considered, and work is performed in a safe and reliable manner.
To be considered for a role the following skills and experience would be preferred:
High risk work licence – Scaffolding Advanced
Demonstrated experience in power station Supervisory roles
Experience with power station outage work fronts and scaffolding requirements
Previous experience with internal boiler / furnace builds highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in workforce allocation and management, conducting pre-starts, toolboxes etc
Ability to read and interpret schedules and provide accurate schedule updates
Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
