Your Impact:
As a Site Maintenance Superintendent, reporting to the Manager of NPI, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring critical site infrastructure—such as roads, buildings, and piping—is well-maintained and supports uninterrupted mining operations. Your work directly contributes to site safety, productivity, and long-term sustainability.

As Part of our Team You Will:
Lead and manage a team of 50+ skilled trades across multiple disciplines.
Oversee day-to-day non-production infrastructure Maintenance operations, including roads, buildings, and tailings systems.
Implement preventative maintenance and safety inspection schedules.
Manage contractor services and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with planning, operations, and engineering teams to meet KPI targets.
Managing long-term planning for the department, with a 3+ month outlook.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role:
Red Seal Certification would be an asset
10+ years of infrastructure maintenance experience, with 5+ in a supervisory role.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets, people, and contractors effectively.
A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and team development.
Waste water treatment and Water treatment experience.
Your Work Environment:
14 days on / 14 days off or 8 days on / 6 days off, rotation at Red Chris Mine.
Remote site operations with on-site lodging accommodations.
Fast-paced, team-oriented setting where safety and collaboration are top priorities.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$145,400/yr - $180,000/yr with an additional 25% short term and 15% long term incentives. . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
