Description
This position would be a passionate and tech-savvy Electronic Music Teaching Assistant to support classes, workshops, and studio sessions focused on music production and sound design.
Examples of Duties
Assist instructors during electronic music and production classes
Help students with DAWs (e.g., Ableton, Logic, Fl Studio) and hardware setup
Provide basic troubleshooting for MIDI controllers, synths, and audio interfaces
Support session organization, file management, and project feedback
Maintain studio equipment and ensure a smooth technical workflow
Minimum Qualifications
Strong knowledge of at least one major DAW
Basic understanding of synthesis, sampling, and audio effects
Comfortable with studio hardware and signal flow
Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching
Student at New College of Florida in good standing (academic and otherwise)
