Student Services Officer
Job Description
Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, addressing concerns and providing accurate information with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
Manage student records meticulously, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams to streamline processes such as enrolment, orientation, and graduation, ensuring a seamless experience for students.
Assist students with navigating university systems, procedures, and resources, offering guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a detailed understanding of academic policies, regulations, and best practices to provide well-informed advice and solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by analyzing feedback, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing efficient processes.
Perform administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to established deadlines and procedures.
Qualifications
Background in administration or student services, ideally in education.
Skilled in student systems (e.g. RTO Manager, CRM) and Microsoft Office.
Strong organiser able to juggle competing deadlines.
Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail with sound understanding of compliance and record-keeping.
Collaborative team player who engages well with stakeholders.
Handles sensitive information with discretion.
Working knowledge of education policies, regulations, and best practice.
Effective problem-solver for student queries and issues.
Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced education environment.
Familiarity with Australian education frameworks (TEQSA, ASQA) is desirable but not required.
