Structural Engineering Manager
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineering Manager to lead our Structural Engineering team, drive technical excellence, oversee project delivery, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of U.S. structural design standards with proven leadership, resource planning, quality management, and business support capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Structural Engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, BIM models, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance for wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures in accordance with U.S. codes.
• Establish and maintain QA/QC standards, SOPs, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Manage team utilization, resource planning, workload balancing, and delivery schedules.
• Mentor engineers conduct performance reviews, and develop technical training programs.
• Support proposal preparation, project estimation, and client presentations.
• Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and BIM workflow enhancements.
• Resolve technical challenges and act as the primary escalation point for engineering issues.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS, TMS, and applicable U.S. building codes.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, RISA-3D, RAM Structural System, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools. • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and BIM coordination.
• PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
