Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Designer role based in Ghaziabad. The Structural Designer will produce and update detailed construction drawings and models for steel and civil structures using CAD tools, in alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with structural and civil engineers, interpreting design calculations, and translating them into clear fabrication and erection drawings. The role involves performing basic structural detailing, checking drawings for accuracy and constructability, and incorporating review comments from engineers and project managers. The Structural Designer will also support material take-offs, assist in design documentation, and collaborate with site and project teams to resolve design-related queries during construction.
Qualifications
• Strong structural engineering fundamentals, with experience applying concepts in Structural Engineering and Steel Design to practical projects.
• Background in Civil Engineering, with the ability to understand and work with civil and structural project specifications and standards.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD),BIM andv3D rendering tools for developing and modifying structural models and detailed drawings.
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings for industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards, and an understanding of fabrication and erection practices.
• Attention to detail, strong spatial and visualization skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing packages to deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel.
