Strategic Events Manager
About the Role:
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role for an experienced Project Management professional. As a Strategic Events Manager, you will be responsible for driving the execution of multiple leadership roundtables across cities and verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project & Program Management:
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, checklists, and reporting frameworks to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partnerships, content, design, sales, and operations to drive event success.
• Operational Excellence:
• Establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for event planning, stakeholder outreach, and reporting to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor internal key performance indicators (KPIs), such as leader onboarding, sponsor Net Promoter Score (NPS), and pipeline-to-closure ratio, to inform business decisions.
• Maintain master trackers and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into event progress and outcomes.
• Growth & Expansion Support:
• Support the development and launch of new geographic markets, such as Singapore, Dubai, and Mumbai, by driving pilot projects and GTM initiatives.
• Anchor internal projects, like content calendar development, campaign launches, or sponsor follow-ups, to drive business growth.
• Ensure rapid experiment cycles for new formats and offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CXOs, sponsors, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Prepare concise weekly reports and leadership updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Be the single point of contact for high-priority escalations, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
• Documentation & Process:
• Maintain a knowledge base for playbooks, decks, and vendor lists to facilitate knowledge sharing and scalability.
• Help develop templatized SOPs to improve consistency and efficiency across teams.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management professional with:
• 3-6 years of experience in program/project management or chief-of-staff roles.
• Prior experience in B2B startups, consulting, or event operations is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in tools like Notion, Excel, Trello/ClickUp, and Google Workspace.
• A zero-defect mindset, attention to detail, and ability to operate at speed.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
