Overview
We are seeking a polished and customer-focused Store Representative to join our Albany location. In this role, you will be the face of our store, representing our brand with professionalism and care, delivering a seamless and elevated experience for every client. You will assist with various tasks, including cash handling, stock management, and maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers.
As this is a slower retail season, content creation will also be a key part of the role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in front of the camera and capable of creating, directing, editing, and assisting with content creation that aligns with the brand’s image and aesthetic.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fashion, exceptional interpersonal skills, content creation, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and needs
Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
Manage stock levels and ensure racks are well-stocked and organized
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store
Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally
Assist in retail sales by promoting products and upselling when appropriate
Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
Create and assist with short-form video content for social media
Direct and edit videos that align with brand messaging and aesthetics
Participate confidently on camera, portraying the brand in a relatable and professional manner
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous retail, showroom, or luxury sales experience preferred
Knowledge or passion for designer fashion and occasion wear
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Well-groomed, professional appearance suitable for a high-end retail environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or events as needed
Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude
Comfortable on camera and familiar with content creation tools or apps
Skills
Assist clients with product selection, styling advice, and fitting recommendations
Maintain visual merchandising standards to reflect brand aesthetics
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Foster client relationships and contribute to brand loyalty
Strong math skills for accurate transactions, inventory counts, and stock management
Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries
Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to accuracy
Knowledge of retail sales techniques to enhance customer experience
Ability to create, direct, and edit engaging video content for marketing and social platforms
