Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, culturally aligned, and retail-focused Store Manager to lead our Hyderabad store launch and operations. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing store operations, and building a high-performing retail team. This role is both operational and entrepreneurial, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end setup and successful launch of the Hyderabad store, ensuring readiness across staff, inventory, systems, and visual presentation.
• Take complete ownership of day-to-day store operations including opening/closing procedures, billing supervision, store upkeep, and operational discipline.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising in alignment with premium brand positioning.
• Deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience by personally engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through product selection.
• Educate customers on the benefits, usage, and maintenance products while effectively communicating craft legacy.
• Train and mentor store staff to ensure consistent customer interaction standards, grooming norms, and product knowledge.
• Ensure accurate inventory management including stock handling, periodic stock checks, reconciliation, and loss prevention.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and head office for replenishment planning and smooth stock flow.
• Maintain proper documentation and daily reporting related to store operations and inventory.
• Handle customer concerns, escalations, and post-purchase queries in a professional and brand-aligned manner.
• Conduct and support in-store demonstrations or product awareness activities; ability to cook and demonstrate products will be an added advantage.
• Monitor store performance metrics and ensure operational efficiency without compromising customer experience.
• Build strong local customer relationships to establish trusted and premium product destination in Hyderabad.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelors degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Retail Operations or Visual Merchandising will be preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems, MS Excel, MS Office Suite, and inventory management software.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Telugu and Hindi will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, team management, customer handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage store operations independently with attention to detail and process orientation.
