Job Description
1. Inventory & Material Management
Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of boards, laminates, hardware, consumables, and other materials.
Maintain stock records and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock discrepancies.
Track damaged, obsolete, excess, or misused materials and submit reports for management review.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials to minimize wastage and damage.
2. Material Planning & Production Coordination
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.
Plan and issue materials based on production schedules and dispatch priorities.
Monitor board utilization and maintain records of material consumption against projects.
Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support production activities.
3. Dispatch & Logistics Control
Coordinate material movement between store, factory, and project sites.
Verify material quantities and documentation before dispatch.
Maintain records of all inward and outward material movements.
Ensure timely preparation and availability of materials for project dispatch requirements.
4. Stock Accountability & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, transfers, balances, and all related purchase, delivery, and invoice documentation.
Ensure accountability and traceability of all materials issued for projects.
Track reusable materials and maintain proper documentation for returns and reuse.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material consumption reports.
5. Store Operations & Compliance
Ensure the store is organized, clean, safe, and systematically maintained.
Implement and follow standard procedures for material handling, storage, and stock control.
Support internal audits and provide required inventory records and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to inventory management and asset control.
6. Reporting & Management Updates
Maintain daily and monthly stock trackers and inventory reports.
Report material shortages, slow-moving stock, damages, and variances to management.
Provide inventory summaries and recommendations during review meetings.
Support management with data for procurement and material planning decisions.
7. Process Improvement & Cost Control
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and storage efficiency.
Recommend measures to reduce material wastage, pilferage, and stock losses.
Implement approved inventory control initiatives and monitor results.
Contribute to cost-saving efforts through effective stock management and material utilization.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
