We're Hiring: Store Assistant
Four Square Aramoho
About the role:
We're looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our friendly team at Four Square Aramoho.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across all areas of the store to help deliver a great shopping experience for our customers. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in keeping the store running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing friendly and efficient customer service
Operating the checkout and assisting customers
Filling, rotating and merchandising stock
Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
Assisting in the kitchen when required, including preparing our popular chicken & chips
Helping with general store tasks as required
Maintaining high food safety and health & safety standards
Supporting your teammates and helping where needed
What we're looking for:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Friendly with excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and handling moderate lifting as part of the role
Previous retail, supermarket or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential – full training will be provided.
Hours:
Approximately 30 hours per week
A mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with availability for both weekend days preferred
Opportunity for additional shifts to cover leave and busy periods
Location: Four Square Aramoho, 138B Somme Parade, Whanganui
