We are seeking a dedicated and organized Stock Coordinator to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring the proper display of merchandise, and maintaining a clean and efficient stock area. This role is vital in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the overall store operations. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to stock management. Bilingual skills are a plus to assist diverse customer needs. Duties
Manage inventory levels by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise efficiently
Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Operate forklifts safely for moving heavy or bulk items (training provided if necessary)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas, including aisles and storage rooms
Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to planograms and promotional displays
Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies or damages
Perform cashiering duties as needed, including processing transactions accurately
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and timely restocking
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of stock equipment and storage areas
Skills
Experience in retail sales and customer service environments
Ability to operate forklifts safely (training available)
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer populations effectively
Knowledge of merchandising standards and inventory management techniques
Basic cleaning and maintenance skills for keeping stock areas tidy and safe
Cashiering experience for processing sales transactions efficiently
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced retail setting
