Reporting to the State Manager, Visy Logistics is seeking an experienced State Warehouse Manager to lead our South Australian operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Distribution and Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Planning, and People Leadership.

Based at our Gillman site, you will thrive in a hands-on environment, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the broader Visy Logistics team. As a seasoned warehouse manager, you understand the critical importance of performing distribution activities safely, while ensuring that people and equipment are utilised efficiently. What You Will do:

Lead safe and efficient warehouse operations in accordance with OHS and company practices
Drive proactive planning, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency
Manage inventory to maximise warehouse capacity and utilisation
Maintain high service levels and respond promptly to customer issues to minimise downtime
Control costs with a strong focus on labour efficiency and workforce productivity
Support budgeting processes and contribute to effective cost control
Identify opportunities to grow the business to driver financial performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support team development, performance, and succession planning

What You Will Bring:

5+ years of proven experience in in Warehouse and Distribution Management is essential
Exceptional knowledge and understanding of HSE and COR requirements
SAP, WMS TMS knowledge highly regarded (Ramco experience is preferred)
Passion for bringing out the best in team members and providing pathways for growth
High level of organizational and time management demonstrating an ability to meet timelines
Continuous improvement mindset to proactively problem solving with a solution focused approach
