Job Description
Managing logistics service providers and optimizing shipping operations.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Execute daily import and export administration and control activities.
Manage and monitor the transit time performance of freight forwarders and transporters.
Handle freight forwarder management and insurance claims.
Plan, monitor, and ensure smooth shipment movements, efficient logistics flow, and timely deliveries.
Manage continuous improvement projects with freight forwarders and transporters.
Assist the Customs Officer (CO) and ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external parties (e.g., Customs, FMM, and logistics service providers) as well as counterparts at other sites.
Participate in budgeting, planning, and forecasting of import and export freight costs.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Bachelor’s degree required, postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of business processes, particularly in supply chain management, project management, customs regulations and free trade agreements.
