Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience with Apps Framework, Boq, Pod Spanner, One Platform
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Development, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

Responsibilities
Design and development of critical infrastructure for Chat Platform.
Lead Chat Platform core fundamentals efforts (Performance, Reliability, Compliance, etc).
Work closely alongside Developing Manager, Product Managers, Tech Leads and partner teams across the Google Chat organization to plan and execute key initiatives.
Support and develop fellow developers on your team to help them further their skill set and help unblocking them.
Set priorities for team members assigned to projects you lead while owning their delivery
