Staff Scheduler

Please note this is a high volume 24/7 staffing coverage scheduling position. Please apply if you have this experience or have experience working in this environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The minimum educational requirement is a post-secondary degree/diploma/ certificate in business administration or related field. Relevant working experience in the developmental services field may be considered equivalent.
A minimum of at least two years’ experience within a computerized scheduling environment is preferred.
This position requires a clear police records check and access to transportation for office work days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and preparation of schedules.
Coverage of late time-off / entitlement requests and unplanned leaves of absence.
Planning and preparation of seasonal vacation coverage.
End of pay period reporting.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Proven ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines.
Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
Proven track record for delivering results.
Proven ability to work independently with little supervision.
Experience working with a unionized environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
