Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Electrical Engineer with broad, hands-on expertise across multiple electrical engineering disciplines to lead the development of advanced electrical systems for high‑precision metrology and inspection equipment. This role requires a strong systems mindset, deep knowledge of power and noise management, motor and actuator control, and the integration of diverse electrical components into complex, high‑performance platforms. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth and leadership experience—guiding engineering teams, shaping processes, and driving electrical excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical subsystems supporting next‑generation semiconductor metrology and inspection systems.
Architect robust electrical solutions spanning analog, digital, power electronics, motor/actuator control, signal conditioning, and mixed‑signal circuitry, with an emphasis on reliability, noise reduction, long‑term stability, and manufacturability.
Guide PCB design and development processes, including schematic oversight, layout optimization, and board bring‑up, ensuring adherence to signal‑integrity, power‑distribution, EMI/EMC, thermal, and global safety standards.
Integrate multidisciplinary components, including sensors, motors, power supplies, high‑precision analog elements, digital controllers, and communication interfaces into cohesive, high‑performance systems.
Partner closely with mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver well‑integrated and production‑ready solutions.
Manage and mentor engineering talent, providing technical leadership, developing best practices, running design reviews, and ensuring alignment with program and organizational goals.
Drive structured problem‑solving, including root cause analyses of complex electrical, power, noise, and integration issues across prototype, pilot, and production phases.
Establish and enhance engineering processes, contributing to continuous improvement in design methodologies, documentation standards, test practices, and cross‑team collaboration.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEMI, CE, UL) throughout design and manufacturing cycles.
