Staff Accountant
We are partnering with a great non-profit organization to find a skilled Staff Accountant. This role will involve assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and working with the organization's grants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices with accurate project and general ledger coding, perform weekly vendor payments, and complete general ledger data entry.
• Payroll and Benefits: Prepare, process, and file 10++-NEC vendor forms, oversee credit card portal activity, and ensure accurate recording.
• Financial Reporting: Perform month-end closing routines, including bank reconciliations and depreciation calculations, review adjusting entries, and maintain digital Accounts Payable vendor files.
• Cash Management: Process daily incoming cash receipts using a digital check scanner, deposit funds into the bank, and maintain state sales tax certificates and applications.
