Job Description
We are Hiring Assistant Banquet Manager
Work Location: Chennai Thoraipakkam
Salary -up to 35000 gross

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
• Supervise banquet setup, service, and breakdown to ensure adherence to event specifications and company standards.
• Liaise with clients, chefs, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of all banquet elements.
• Train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crew.
• Monitor service quality and promptly resolve guest complaints or concerns.
• Maintain inventory and ensure banquet supplies and equipment are in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in managing costs and budgeting for banquet operations.
• Provide input on menu planning and room layout according to event needs.
• Support the Banquet Manager with administrative duties, reports, and event evaluations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in banquet, catering, or hospitality operations, with supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in banquet event order (BEO) systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
