Job description
Key Responsibilities
• Application Engineering & Technical Stewardship: Provide high-level technical support for next generation electronic components (sensors, shunt resistors, passives, and power devices). Act as the primary technical interface for major global OEMs and EMS companies.
• Strategic Product Marketing: Define value propositions, analyze competitive landscapes, and map tech trends to design ***** go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with global suppliers to architect future product roadmaps.
• Design-In & R&D Collaboration: Embed early into customer R&D, design, prototyping, and validation cycles to ensure our client’s components are spec'd into long-term manufacturing blueprints.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead technical evaluation, custom application-specific development, and customer sampling loops to rapidly qualify and scale new product variants.
• Cross-Functional & Knowledge Leadership: Partner with internal Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to build detailed technical proposals, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and design guides while uplifting organisational capability through internal training.
Education & Experience
• Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical
• Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline. An MBA in Sales and Marketing is highly preferred.
• Experience Landscape: 15 to 18 years of seasoned excellence in application engineering, technical product marketing, or field application (FAE) roles within the electronics space.
• Industry Domain: Proven track record of supporting tier-1 OEM/EMS customers in Automotive, Industrial Automation, Power Electronics, Telecom, and IoT sectors.
• Experience working alongside global component manufacturers or top-tier distributors is strongly favoured
