Global Tech MNC requires Sr -Legal Counsel - Thane or Noida
One of our client a leading Fintech company has embarked on a journey to create a very unique offering in the Customer Loyalty space. We look to create an amazing experience for the users (of the bank). We are among the largest and leading providers of Loyalty solution in the Middle East Region with our platform The seemingly small but highly experienced team has been instrumental is creating a world class loyalty solution that we offer to Banks. We have also launched Gift Card Programs for prestigious names like Dubai Mall, Samsung that allows users to have physical/digital Gift Cards.
We are now experiencing a high growth and are looking to expand our team to add to the strength in product development, quality assurance. We work in the best of breed of technology and provide a extremely good learning path in areas of programming, automation, testing, security, data handling/analytics, mobile and cloud.
We are looking to expand our team with people who would like to be part of a fast spaced growing company.
We are looking for Sr Legal Counsel for our client office in Thane .

Client : Global Tech MNC
Role: Sr Legal Counsel
Location- Thane or Noida
Experience: 7-12 years of experience in a legal role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position, preferably in the fintech or financial services/Loyalty/CRM/Tech/similar industry.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). A master's degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent is preferred. CS and legal combination preferred.
Joining: Maximum 30 days

Reports to:Legal Head
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Head to oversee all legal aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will ensure that our operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and will provide strategic legal advice to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all legal matters of the company, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, contracts, and litigation.
- Provide expert legal advice and support to the executive team and other departments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those specific to the fintech
and payment gateway industry.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure legal compliance.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's business and provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters.
- Handle legal disputes and manage the company's response to litigation and regulatory inquiries.
- Advise on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). A master's degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent is preferred.
- Admission to the Bar Council of India.
- 8+ years of experience in a legal role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in
the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract law.
- Cyber law diploma or degree will be an added advantage.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
