Job Description
Responsibilities
• Should be familiar with export-import shipping documents and verifying the same for finals
• by coordinating with Shipper.
• Can check and approve checklist for Bill of entry and Shipping bill.
• Coordination with plant for loading and unloading team.
• Follow up with Shipping line, CHA, freight forwarders, transporters DGFT, CONCOR for documents and operations related activities.
• Submission of Bill of entries and Shipping Bills to bank and DGFT for closure.
• Verifying service providers invoice and submission to accounts.
• Should be technical to work in ERP software and should be responsible from Purchase order to empty container handover.
• Should maintain records of advance licenses, EPCG, RODTEP etc.
• Preparing Custom passing documents, Pre-shipment & Post- shipment documents.
• Submission of proper & relevant documents to bank for payment of imports.
• Preparing Goods Receipt Note (MRN), POC & Other Import related documents.
• Undertaking Freight negotiation with Shipping companies, airlines.
• Monitor shipments and Customs clearance.
• Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties.
Qualifications
• Graduation Required,
• Certification in Shipping/EXIM will be prefered
• Having good command on Excel.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in trading/manufacturing industry
