Key Responsibilities:
• Develop plumbing system designs including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire suppression systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.
• Prepare layouts, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform pipe sizing calculations, flow rate calculations, pressure loss assessments, and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with architectural and other MEP disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international codes and standards (e.g., IPC, NFPA, ASHRAE).
• Support construction teams with technical queries, submittal reviews, and site visits when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in plumbing design for building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and plumbing calculation tools.
• Strong understanding of international plumbing codes and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
