Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in working with AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
Experience in defining the ‘right fit’ Architecture for Applications based on AWS Well architecture framework.
Stateful and stateless application design experience.
Hands on Experience in designing and provisioning Infrastructure on AWS Cloud
Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions.
Strong understanding of AWS Security and how to meet application compliance requirements.
Experience working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities – self-service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
Experience defining technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
Required Certifications: AWS Certified Solution Architect
Nice to Have:
Strong understanding of On Prem Infrastructure for Applications (Network, Storage, Processing, Backup/DR etc).
Experience in working with hybrid Infra architectures.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with hybrid Infra architectures – on prem and AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
Define the ‘right fit’ Architecture for Applications in AWS Cloud as per best practices and standards.
Design and provision Infrastructure on AWS Cloud as part of the on prem migration of Applications.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Github Actions.
Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
Working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities – self-service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
Drive continuous improvement including design, and standardization of process and methodologies.
Assess feasibility, complexity and scope of new capabilities and solutions.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
Work on architecture consulting engagements as well as assist in submitting proactive proposals to grow the business.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per annum
