We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sr. Accountant - Exports with a proven track record in the export industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, stock conversion, and export banking. He/she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management within the export company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
2. Taxation and Compliance: Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally, and ensure the company's compliance. Handle all tax-related matters, including filing returns and resolving tax-related issues.
3. Export Banking: Oversee export financing and banking transactions. Maintain. relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth international transactions and secure favorable terms.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and budgets to the management team, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
5. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity.
6. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and assist in financial audits. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
7. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to safeguard the company's financial assets.
8. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
+. Liasoning: Manage financial relationships with banks and other govt. departments.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within an export company.
Strong knowledge of international taxation, export regulations, and banking practices.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month
