Job Description
Type: Part Time
Frequency: Once a Week (Every Wednesday)
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Location: Fort, Mumbai
Total Number of Sessions: 25
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging Speech & Drama sessions for student groups.
Develop lesson plans, activities, scripts, and learning materials aligned with programme objectives.
Facilitate activities focused on public speaking, voice modulation, storytelling, role-play, improvisation, and theatre techniques.
Encourage confidence, creativity, communication skills, and self-expression through performance-based learning.
Assess student progress and maintain relevant training records and reports.
Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their speaking, presentation, and performance skills.
Support students in preparing for showcases, performances, competitions, and school events where applicable.
Must Have
Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or conducting workshops in Speech & Drama, Theatre, Public Speaking, or related fields.
Ability to engage and inspire learners in an interactive classroom environment.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Strong understanding of theatre techniques, voice modulation, character development, storytelling, and stage presence.
Confidence in managing group activities and performance-based learning sessions.
Preferred Skills
Background in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, Drama, Communication, English Literature, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Experience in acting, directing, stage productions, storytelling, debate, elocution, or public speaking.
Familiarity with digital learning tools and online facilitation techniques.
Participation in theatre productions, drama festivals, competitions, or performance-based events.
Ability to mentor students for stage performances, competitions, public speaking events, and showcases.
