Specialist - Payroll/Benefits & Compliance - Center Of Excellence
Job Description
As the Payroll, Benefits, & Compliance professional APAC, your role involves ensuring accurate and timely payment of payroll expenses and taxes for the Center of Excellence (CoE). Your deep knowledge of payroll administration and compliance regulations will be crucial in performing the following key responsibilities:
- Overseeing and directing end-to-end payroll procedures, including Provident Fund (PF), Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Professional Tax (PT) contributions on respective portals.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, applicable India laws, and payroll tax obligations.
- Reviewing and updating payroll processes regularly to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Collaborating with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies between timekeeping and payroll data.
- Managing updates to payroll systems to accommodate changes such as new hires, terminations, raises, and benefits modifications.
- Leading the implementation and communication of organization-wide benefits plans and programs.
- Managing monthly billings from insurance providers and other vendors, including reviewing billings for accuracy and advance for payment.
- Liaising with auditors and managing payroll tax audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and resolving payroll-related issues.
Your qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management and 2-5 years of related experience in similar roles.
- Proven experience in payroll, compliance, and benefits management.

- Extensive knowledge of payroll and benefits programs, including related taxation.
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and laws.
- Familiarity with payroll software, HRIS, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
