Job Description
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Special Needs Teacher to join our inclusive Afterschool Club team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and will be passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for learning and play after school hours.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a less formal, activity-based setting while making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate activities that meet the diverse needs of children with special needs.
Provide tailored support to individual children based on their needs, interests, and IEP goals (where applicable).
Foster a positive and respectful environment that supports emotional and behavioral well-being.
Monitor and document progress, behavior, and any concerns during club hours.
Work collaboratively with other afterschool staff to promote inclusion and teamwork.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.44-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
