Role Description The Special Education Teacher will work on-site in Noida in a full-time capacity, supporting learners with diverse needs in a middle school setting. Responsibilities include planning and delivering individualized and small-group instruction, adapting curriculum and classroom materials, and implementing effective strategies to support students with disabilities. The role involves collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress reports. The teacher will assess student performance, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. Daily tasks also include managing classroom behavior positively, participating in school meetings and professional development, and aligning instruction with school policies and educational standards.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of Special Education practices and experience working with students with disabilities.
• Demonstrated teaching skills in middle school settings, including lesson planning and classroom management.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field; specialized training or certification in Special Education is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Ability to work on-site in Noida and maintain a supportive, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Familiarity with educational technology and tools that support differentiated instruction.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and non-discriminatory practices in education.
