Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher at Lodha World School, located in Mumbai. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education programs for students with disabilities. The role involves teaching middle school students, providing support and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each student. The teacher will collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the academic and social development of students within an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
• Experience and skills in Special Education, particularly with students with disabilities
• Teaching experience, preferably with middle school students
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of educators and support staff
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Special Education or related fields
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with special needs
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and strategies
