Role Description The Solar Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This position involves identifying potential customers, generating leads, and managing the complete sales cycle for solar products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, understanding their energy needs, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting site visits with technical teams, and closing sales. The role also requires maintaining relationships with existing customers, following up on inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely installation and service. The Solar Sales Executive is expected to achieve sales targets, provide clear product information, and represent the company professionally in the local market.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage the end-to-end sales process and achieve defined targets.
• Customer relationship management skills, including effective communication, active listening, and follow-up with diverse clients.
• Basic technical understanding of solar energy systems or a willingness to learn about solar products, installations, and performance.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, site visits, and documentation efficiently.
• Proficiency in using smartphones, email, and basic office software for reporting, proposals, and customer communication.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore, travel locally for client meetings and site assessments, and collaborate with technical teams.
• Prior experience in solar, renewable energy, or field sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in business, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
