About the role:

The Identity Integration platform delivers reliable and innovative technology solutions at pace, leveraging our thought leadership and expertise. We are responsive, proactive, and transparent.

As a Software Specialist you will lead, influence and participate in software development life cycle activities including technology research and analysis, software analysis and design, software development, integration, evaluation and review, all aspects of software application testing, software application support, automation and CI/CD practices.

We advocate agile, fully cross functional squads which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for someone who:

Deals with situations by considering commercial implications, standards, legislation and relevant solutions from experience and research.
Maintains discretion and holds themselves to the highest standards to ensure software applications are robust, safe and future fit.
Grows others through mentoring and coaching and proactively provides guidance and applies expertise.
Is self-organising and exercises full personal responsibility to manage time, priorities, and deliverables. Monitors work progress and impediments, keeping others informed as appropriate.
Provides accurate, timely and clear communication members of the engineering practice and platform.
Establishes, maintains and actively builds positive professional relationship
About you:

We are looking for an individual that will champion the squad's quality goals. If you have an eye on detail and like to see how things work, you will have a lot of fun with us. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of test engineering and deliver better safer customer experiences.

We are looking for someone who has:

10+ years of test engineering experience with both Manual and Test Automation experience
Proven knowledge across functional testing, system integration testing, API testing, end to end testing, automation testing and performance testing.
Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles.
Experience in developing, maintaining and executing test automation.
In-depth technical capabilities to develop .Net/RestSharp/Selenium/BDD test automation
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps,CI/CD pipelines.

Mentoring/ guiding on standards and best practices.
Experience on defining test strategies, test plans, exit reports.
Experience of testing SaaS / Cloud based system or enterprise scale platform
In addition, the following would be an advantage:

Financial/banking domain experience.
Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals.
Working experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience with open-source test automation library like SpecFlow / ReqNRoll, Selenium, Playwright
Senior level experience with C# or similar languages development, standards and approach
Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter or similar tools
