Software Engineer Security Job

About the job:
Key responsibilities:

1. Design and enforce digital security protocols

2. Operate cybersecurity systems and uphold IT security standards across various environments

3. Integrate knowledge in network security, identity and access management (IAM), DevSecOps, continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, zero-trust principles, and cloud security (multi-cloud/private)

4. Review changes across systems to ensure minimized risk and uncompromised security

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Azure Security Engineer)

2. 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles

3. At least one recognized security certification (e.g., CCNP Security, GIAC, or similar)

4. Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO standards, and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing)

5. Familiarity with tools like BigFix, InTune, Imperva, Snort, Nessus/Nexpose, and related security technologies

6. Knowledge of enterprise-wide identity and access management solutions

7. Experience with Azure AD, SSO, MFA, identity federation, and automation

8. Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc)

+. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities

10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

11. Experience in documenting security policies, procedures, and best practices
